30-day trial

I currently have a 30-day license. I removed harbal off my stand alone and wanted to put it on my laptop for portability. However, is the 30-day trial license limited? Meaning, am I not able to do this yet until after my trial period? I am guessing this is true because the license is temporary and your authentication process might be able to tell I have already used the code on another PC. Also, if I were to send you something by email saying I want to forego the 30-day trial and except the full-version, can I do this?
