I know you should not try to match EQ but what is the best way of getting the bass consistent on a bunch of tracks recorded from different sources. And what is the best Octave view to work in 1/3 or 1/6

Hi how do I get consistent loudness for a set of tracks is it just by ear, when I use the Match Loudness some tracks seem way to loud? and is it bet to use a different limiter than the Har-Bal one.

No I meant it even moves at +15 so I got confused whether I should leave it there or move it anti clockwise

Without actually hearing the track, (and assuming that it is a full mix), visually there is a boost at what looks like 280Hz which can cause problems with clarity (ie: muddiness) and playback on boomboxes. I hear (and see this in HarBal) a lot with client mixes in this region (200Hz - 500+ Hz). Try...
