Hi, I followed your suggestion using, a pink noise file, and created some filter files. I don't know why but it seems that those filter files does not get loaded into Har-Bal along with my songs. I mailed you the filter files. Maybee you could tell me what's wrong with those files. With a pink noise...

Not a bad idea !

I'll try with a short record of a single chord covering all the bandwidth using some preset eq's. Perhaps something of an exact reproduction of those settings will appear in Har-Bal.

Hi, I use Har-Bal to eq my orchestral pieces and then applied reverb, compression etc... A final piece was played in the Windows media player and I tried their 10 bands Graphic eq. My wav file had 3 big drops in Har-Bal at about 90 Hz, 120 Hz, and 190Hz regions. After moving up those parts I discovered very bad hissing in my strings. So I reloaded a small part of the wav file containing only strings. I shelved down all frequencies above 200 Hz, moved up the 3 deficient regions...
